Cities are our homes. We make them, and they make us.
At the start of Covid, we decided it’d be time to leave the Big Apple and return somewhere a bit more familiar: Atlanta. Soon after moving, Concrete Candles was born. Originally poured on a patio in a high-rise building in Midtown to now having a dedicated space of it’s own, Concrete Candles has taken on a new life.
It’s always been our intention to produce a more sustainable, better looking, and better smelling candle. However, we’ve realized that after moving ~9 times in the past 2 years, we can channel our experiences into something unique. Candles that are familiar, yet new to all.
We realized that no matter which city we lived in, we were surrounded by the material. There was concrete everywhere. Thus, Concrete Candles’ take on scents of the cities was born.
And, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, our mission is to make “concrete jungle living” a bit more green. For every candle we sell, we plant a tree. Our hope is to create lasting works of art that not only smell great + remind us of our travels, but also to create works of art that fit in with your home decor.
We hope you enjoy our candles as much as we enjoy making, and let us know how you’ve given your vessel a new life by tagging us @Burn_Concrete on Instagram + TikTok.
